Expert Author status at Ezine

How many articles does it take to become an "expert." Or is this automatic once you submit your first article?

That's automatic. When you submit 10 more, you will get upgraded. If you have no denied articles, you will get premium status. If you don't make that, you get basic plus status.

I am at basic plus level and I have never had any articles denied, You would think they would upgrade me to premium right away after I got my 10 articles submitted.

I would like to request that you review my articles and consider my account for an upgrade.

Here is why I think I deserve Platinum status:

I love to write articles. I believe that I can help your business and you can help mine. I have followed all the editorial guidelines and I haven't had one rejected yet. I would appreciate it if I could receive an upgrade.

hmmmmmmmmm, I honestly have no idea what is going on with them. Next time you apply, tell them how much VALUE your QUALITY articles add to their site.

They are changing things.... you can't make your anchor text any longer than 5 words anymore, which is absolutely killing me!
